H.M.S. "Colleen" was a shore-based ship based at Queenstown (now Cobh) in Cork. There were no combat deaths aboard this ship. William's death was reported as being 'a disease' by the Royal Navy War Graves Roll. William's Grave and the CWGC state his 2nd name as BISSETT. See Directory for William's half-brother Peter's page.
