From the 1901 Census - Address - 196d Bank St, Coatbridge - George Lindsay aged 64, Hellen Lindsay aged 60, Henrietta Lindsay aged 20, Alexander Lindsay aged 19, James Crawford aged 42. Alexander's Pension was awarded to his wife Rebecca of 615 Dalmarnock Rd, Bridgeton, Glasgow on the 30/01/1919. Their 2 sons also listed.

Additional Information

The Royal Field Artillery 20th Ammunition Column was part of the 20th (Light) Division. Alexander arrived in France on the 24/07/1915. Alexander was killed by enemy bombing and was buried with full Military Honours in the presence of all his comrades. Alexander is listed as ROYAL GARRISON ARTILLERY on the Coatbridge Memorial. Alexander is also remembered in the St. Augustine's Parish (book) Roll of Honour.
