The Battalion arrived at Boulogne on the 23/11/15 and were part of the 97th Brigade, 32nd Division. On the 22/02/1918 they became the Pioneer Battalion in the same Division. The Battalion is often known by its original title of the Glasgow Boys Brigade Battalion. They formed in Glasgow on the 2nd September 1914 by the Lord Provost and City, with many recruits coming from the Boys Brigade.
